Freshman year Track:

  • 1 mile sub 5:00 (NOPE... 5:06, I blame the stress fracture.)
  • 2 mile sub 11:00 (Never even ran it...)

Sophmore year XC:

  • 17:00 for 5k
  • 16:40 for 3 mile
  • Be seventh guy on the team
  • Get one of those sweet NXN hats

Long-Term Running Goals:

Be able to run away if I'm ever jumped.

This season has been pretty rough. Accutane takes a crazy toll on the body so if you care a lot about running you shouldn't take it. I probably shouldn't have taken it, but its worth it to not have acne I guess.

Anyway I ran about 20 seconds slower on a 20 second longer course than preregion, so it all evens out. It sucks hitting so far from my goal for this season, but I guess I have some excuse. It still sucks to have no improvement, but my 6 months of the drug are over around the start of track season. So i'm looking foreward to that for sure.

Good job to the varsity guys for taking second.
